The small New England state of Connecticut is not blessed with a wealth of major attractions. Nevertheless, it is pleasant to explore and has a number of tourist sights worth mentioning.

     Mark Twain’s House, in the capital city of Hartford, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state.

One of the world’s great universities, Yale, is located in New Haven, Connecticut. The campus features the Peabody Museum of Natural History, a wonderful, small museum.

In the northeast, Connecticut is known for its two Indian casinos, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.
