Ontario is the home of Canada’s capital, Ottawa, and its largest city, Toronto. It is also the home of Niagara Falls, one of the world’s great waterfalls. For the tourist, these are the three most important stops.  

     The Canadian side of Niagara Falls contains Horseshoe Falls, the most impressive part of the attraction. Otherwise, the activities on the Canadian and American side mirror one another. Each has Maid of the Mist boats, and each has a walk where you will get wet from the spray.

   Toronto is a very modern city. Its premier attraction is the CN (Canadian National) Tower which rises over 1,800 feet into the air. The view from the Observation Deck is incredible. On a clear day, you can see the spray of Niagara Falls, over 100 miles away.

Ottawa demands respect and is a suitable capital city for a large nation like Canada. The Canadian Parliament building is prominently located on Parliament Hill and overlooks the city impressively.
