Tennessee is a Deep South state which is entirely landlocked (most of the others have a shoreline on either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico). It is probably the Country Music capital of the world, with Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry. The most well-known cities are Nashville and Memphis, but the highlight of the state has to be Great Smokies National Park, tucked into the southeastern corner of the state and sharing space with North Carolina.
