Now that we are back from our Scandinavian Cruise, another notch in my Travel Bucket List, I am already thinking about the next trip. Perhaps I am obsessed, but I feel that I will have a difficult time getting to all the MUST-SEE places on my Bucket List before my cancer puts me in the grave.

Therefore, we are planning another small journey, later this year, to further address the Bucket List. We will be leaving on September 26th for a Fly-and-Drive road trip to complete our travel to ALL 50 STATES:

I still need North Dakota

Lee needs North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, & Iowa

We will fly to Chicago (a place that I have been eager to return to) and travel through Wisconsin & Minnesota as far west as Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. On the return to Chicago, we will spend a few days in the Black Hills of South Dakota (we were there before but did not visit the Badlands or the Crazy Horse sculpture) and then cut through Iowa to reach our starting point. It’s only a nine (9) day trip and we are trying to use reward points to make it less expensive, but it will satisfy another part of the Bucket List for both Lee & me. I’m already excited!
