We have been to only one of the many gardens in the state of Pennsylvania, but the Longwood Gardens happen to be the most famous in the state and one of the best in the world. Once part of the estate of industrialist Pierre du Pont, these extensive gardens attract thousands of visitors per year. Many horticultural and Arts event take place within the gardens each year.
