Every tourist destination has it’s attractions. However, because every tourist is different, these attractions have greater or lesser value. Bisected by the Danube River, the city of Budapest has two distinct parts, the Buda hills which are dominated by Buda Castle, and the rather flat village of Pest. Come to Budapest whenever you explore central Europe for at least the following reasons:
1. Buda Castle sits prominently above Pest, across the Danube.

2. The major link between Buda and Pest is the lovely Chain Bridge.

3. Dramatically situated along the Danube is Hungary’s Parliament, one of the most exquisite buildings in Eastern Europe.
