Come to Suzhou to see numerous examples of traditional Chinese gardens. The town is less than an hour from Shanghai but is a world away in culture and ambience. Be sure to include Suzhou in any Chinese adventure for at least the following reaons:
1. Although the gardens are the main draw, Suzhou is a city of canals and pedestrian streets so is pleasant to stroll through.
2. The Humble Administrator’s Garden is one of the most popular gardens in Suzhou.
3. The Lion’s Grove Garden was our favorite when we visited the charming city of Suzhou.
