Why Go to Zhouzhuang?

Zhouzhuang is one of China’s Water Villages, Venice-like towns in which the major transportation is by boat along canals. These villages can be found west of Shanghai and make for an interesting excursion for visitors to the city. Zhouzhuang is the most popular of these Water Villages and is a charming addition to any trip to China for at least the following reasons:
