On our last day in Israel we headed for Jaffa, sister city of Tel Aviv. We reached the Old City at about 2:30 PM and made a walking tour to see the major sights. We saw the Clock Tower at the entrance to the Old City.
We strolled the oldest part of the city and saw a Biblical monument which commemorates Jacob’s Dream, the sacrifice of Isaac, and Joshua’s storming the walls of Jericho.
We walked across the Wishing Bridge and made our wishes.
The Main Square of Old Jaffa is a lovely place, great for people-watching.
From Old Jaffa, one can see the beachfront of Tel Aviv.
Our last stop was at a huge mall in Tel Aviv, situated at the base of several skyscrapers.
