I feeling especially fortunate today. I was thinking that I am really quite healthy, except for my cancer. What an advantage! Suppose I had some other serious disease, like heart disease or diabetes. It would be so much more difficult to handle my cancer. Instead, I am strong, robust, and fully capable to fight this deadly disease for as long as I can.

I think about others that I know or have heard of who have significant other ailments which certainly would complicate treatment and the ability of the body to attack and kill cancer cells, and I count my blessings.
