I’m a bit anxious today since the side effects began to kick in on the day after my treatment, during the last round of chemo. We’ll see what this week brings.

We watched a program last night on PBS, entitled, Cancer: Emperor of Maladies. It was the first of three programs on successive nights. The first program chronicled the history of cancer. Each of the programs is two hours long and begins at 9 PM. I found it fascinating and well worth the time. The program was produced by Ken Burns, of Baseball fame.
