My Personal Cancer Journey — The Mundane & Trivial

I certainly do not want to seem arrogant, but many people out there get worked up about the most insignificant things. The expend major amounts of energy on mundane and trivial matters. I want to say to them, “Don’t waste your time on silly, insignificant matters. Life is too precious and time is so fleeting! Take care of the things that truly matter, your family and friends, your career, your self-improvement.”

If there is any lesson to be learned from my cancer, it is that the time we have left (and we seldom know how much there is) should be reserved for what truly matters in life. I would like to go around shaking people and asking them, “What are you waiting for?”
