There are many things associated with Memphis, some good and some not so good, e.g., Elvis, Great Ribs, Martin Luther King’s Assassination, the Blues, etc. However, it is a city which must be experienced. Add Memphis to your itinerary for at least the following reasons:
1. Graceland is the top draw in Memphis, even for those who are not Elvis fans.
2. The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis concentrates on the events leading up to and following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
3. Beale Street is the focal point of downtown Memphis because of its music venues and ribs’ restaurants.
