Philly is another city which is drenched in American History. This is where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were written, debated and finalized. Book your trip to Philadelphia for the following reasons:
1. Independence National Historical Park preserves a large chunk of the city near the riverfront which was critical in America’s struggle for independence from England.
2. Philadelphia is also a place to become immersed in Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s founders and a true “Renaissance Man.”
3. Philly’s proximity to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country means that fresh and tasty food is always available. One of the best places to sample the regional goodies and especially a Philly Steak, the city’s trademark, is at the Reading Terminal Market.
