The beautiful city of Santa Barbara offers a more tranquil and more elegant lifestyle than other cities along the Pacific Coast Highway. It has long been associated with Art and artists. Visit Santa Barbara for a welcome change of pace from Los Angeles or San Francisco, for at least the following reasons:
1. The city’s Spanish architecture is some of the most interesting in California. Be sure to check out both the exterior and the interior of the County Courthouse.
The view from the courthouse tower, of Santa Barbara’s traditional red tile roofs, is breathtaking.
2. History abounds in this delightful city on the Pacific.
3. One of the most beautiful of California’s Mission Churches can be found here.
