Best of Connecticut

 The small New England state of Connecticut is not blessed with a wealth of major attractions. Nevertheless, it is pleasant to explore and has a number of tourist sights worth mentioning.

     Mark Twain’s House, in the capital city of Hartford, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state.

 Gillette Castle, further east, was once the home of a noted actor who built the house to his very unusual specifications.

One of the world’s great universities, Yale, is located in New Haven, Connecticut. The campus features the Peabody Museum of Natural History, a wonderful, small museum.

In the northeast, Connecticut is known for its two Indian casinos, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.

The state is also known for its historic and quaint small towns, places like Litchfield, especially beautful in the fall 


and Norfolk
