One of the world’s most vivid images is of the ancient Great Wall of China trailing off into the horizon. Some parts of the wall have existed for 1500 years. It’s construction is an incredible engineering feat and much of it can still be walked and enjoyed by visitors. Imagine the thrill of strolling along its expanse (although the actual walking is extremely strenuous because it is so steep).
