Why Go to George Town?

Every tourist destination has its attractions. However, because every tourist is different, these attractions have greater or lesser value. Grand Cayman is the largest island in the Caymans. Its capital is George Town, a delightful stopover for cruise ships in the Caribbean Sea. George Town boasts beautiful beaches and a charming waterfront area, perfect for strolling and/or shopping. Include George Town in your Caribbean adventure for at least the following reasons:

1. The most beautiful and most popular beach near the center of George Town is Tiki Beach.

2. The Peace Memorial commemorates the end of World War I and can be found across from Heroes Square.

3. Churches are always important elements of the culture of the Caribbean Islands and George Town is no exception.
