Every tourist destination has it’s attractions. However, because every tourist is different, these attractions have greater or lesser value. Salzburg, Austria is located in the western part of the country, near the German border. This is the place where Mozart was born, and the composer is celebrated throughout the city. It was also the setting for the musical, The Sound of Music. Include Salzburg in your Austrian plans for at least the following reasons:
1. Mozart’s birthplace is one of Salzburg’s most visited attractions.
