Once the focal point of the Hapsburg Dynasty and capital of the Holy Roman Empire, Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its classic architecture and plethora of attractions thrill travelers each and every year. Include Vienna in any central European vacation for at least the following reasons:
1. The Hofburg was the Hapsburg palace complex. It occupies a prominent section of the center of the City of Vienna.

2. The Hapsburg’s also maintained a summer palace on the outskirts of Vienna. The gloriette and gardens of Schonbrunn are spectacular.

3. The Stephansdom is Vienna’s Cathedral. Its striking tiled roof and steeple are visible throughout the city center.
