To all my readers:

          Thanks for following along on our trip. I hope that I have caused you to add (or maybe subtract) places on your “Bucket List.” I know that this trip allowed me to cross off several places on my travel to-do list.

       So what were the conclusions after two weeks of schlepping suitcases and chewing up miles on the highways of the USA?

     Best Place — Arches National Park, near Moab, UT

     Best Small Town — Eureka Springs, AR

     Best Scenic Drive — San Juan Skyway from Silverton to Ouray (although this choice was difficult; there were so many lovely drives)

      Best City — Kansas City, MO ( a definite surprise!)

      Most Moving Attraction — Okalahoma City National Memorial

      Best Shopping — Kansas City (Country Club Plaza, because of its ambience and architecture)

      Best Restaurant — Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbeque, Kansas City

      Best Religious Site — Christ of the Ozarks, Eureka Springs

      Best National Park — Arches

      Best Hotel Value — Wyndham Resort on the Meadows, Branson, MO

      Our next trip is coming up in October. We will go to Israel and tour the Holy Land, a place that I have always wanted to visit.
