Travel is often an emotional experience, especially when you visit a site which evokes strong feelings. Frequently these places are memorials to events or people. In these next few posts I will explore some of the most moving sights that I have visited.
Who would think that such an emotionally-charged travel sight is located in the vicinity of South Beach, Miami, the party capital of the world. We have been there several times and each time is evocative and moving. The memorial was completed in 1990 and vividly demonstrates man’s inhumanity to man.
