If you know me well enough, you have probably heard me quote from the poem, The Walrus and the Carpenter, by Lewis Carroll:
“The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things,
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax
Of cabbages and kings
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.”
Of course, now is the time to talk of these things since death is close at hand, as it was for the poor oysters on that beach. The time has in fact come to talk of all the fantastic and marvelous things that life has to offer, before it ends.
