Because of recent medical developments in my life, my travel blog will be transformed into a different type of journey. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer on January 9, 2012. Talk about a life-changer! One minute your life is wonderful and the next minute you begin counting the days till its end.

At any rate, since cancer has often been described as a “journey,” it seemed logical that I should take my readers along on this, my last trip on Earth. I plan to give daily updates on treatments, side effects, feelings (both good and bad), and thoughts as the journey continues.
