So true! Many people are so negative, looking at the small obstacles and problems, instead of concentrating on the present moment and its significance. Being positive and accepting is so much more enjoyable, especially for the people you are traveling with or those you meet along the way. I’ve seen this same reaction after some kind of performance or contest. The participant immediately starts to complain about or regret some aspect of the activity, instead of being proud that they completed it. Those who immerse themselves in the experience have longer-lasting and better memories of the entire episode.
