Travel Quotation 60 – Agnes Repplier

American essayist, Agnes Repplier, once stated,

“The impulse to travel is one of the hopeful symptoms of life.”

Ms Repplier has an interesting way of expressing the desire to travel, so common in people around the world. She sees life like a medical condition or syndrome, in which the urge to travel is one of the symptoms. Going further, she implies that it is a hopeful symptom, indicating that those who possess this “bug” are on the road to good health. It certainly has been a good sign for me.
