Travel Quotation 82 — Orson Welles

Orson Welles, famous actor, expressed his dislike of air travel with the following quote: “There are only two emotions in a plane. Boredom and terror.”

Hopefully he was speaking at a different and earlier time, although the boredom part still occurs if you are not prepared with a book, puzzle, or some other mind-occupying activity. Perhaps Orson was never aware of the “Mile High Club.”.
